“ First time here. Came because of the reviews and food pics. Was not disappointed! Had the Spanish omelette loaded biscuits and gravy. Both were really flavorful and biscuits were fall apart tender. Large portions and good prices. Our waitress Amri was very friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back! ”
“ Hot Spot 51 is a hidden gem, it is a nice quiet place for a meal. They have good food and great service. We arrived at about 1:40 pm not knowing they were closing at 2 pm. Amri, our waitress was very patient with us and she made sure we had everything we needed right down to offering us a to go cup for our drinks. Amri never mentioned closing until we were leaving. She made us feel welcome the entire time. She was a great waitress, so much so, that I would return based on just the level of service she provided. As for the food, the Nacho Fries were really good. It was a huge serving. The Open Face Chili Size Burger was also very good. My friend Johnny got a Patty Melt and he stated it may have been the best Patty Melt he has ever had. Since we had Nacho Fries as the appetizer, I chose to pass on the fries with my burger and went with the Soup of the Day instead. I had what they called their Cheeseburger Soup. It was amazing. It was my second favorite part of the meal. The service being the first. Their Onion Rings are really good also. The Porker Skillet is excellent and their Rye Toast is delicious. Upon returning after an extended trip, the food is just as delicious as it was before. The the all you can eat Fish and Chips was excellent. The fish was Pollock aka Walleye. The Patty Melt still fantastic and the Porker skillet was still amazing. And of course the service is second to none. I decided to go a little on the lighter side today and went with the Chicken Strip Salad w/ Bleu Cheese Dressing. It was a huge delicious salad. ”

“ I cannot believe we found this place. Hot Spot 51 is a hidden gem, and quite possibly the best breakfast spot in the entire valley. I had Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs with has browns. The hash browns were done so well. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. The chicken fried steak was delicious. My side of choice was a biscuit with gravy. The gravy is some of the best I have had. The biscuit itself was one of the best biscuits I have eaten. I also had a side of Corned Beef Hash. There is no doubt I have never eaten better corned beef hash! Chunks of tender corned beef griddle with perfect potatoes. They were able to make the corned beef crispy on the outside yet very tender on the inside. The flavor of the beef was off the charts! If you're contemplating going to breakfast at one of the best breakfast places in the Phoenix area go to hotspot 51. It is at the NW corner of Olive and 51st Avenue. The sign on the restaurant itself says Ollie's Coney Island. That is the place. They haven't changed the sign yet. ”
